Yoga Bio

Yvonne (E-RYT 200 / RYT 500 / YACEP) started practicing yoga in 2011 and has been teaching since 2017. She has led classes and workshops in power vinyasa, yoga sculpt, hot power fusion, slow flow, restorative yoga, and breathwork across the SF Bay Area and NYC. Her advanced training includes a 300-hour program with Kiersten Jakobsen, Anatomy of Assists with Janet Stone, and Katonah / Body Reading with Abbie Galvin.

Always a student at heart, Yvonne approaches her teaching with playful curiosity, inviting students to explore their strength and mobility on the mat to cultivate awareness, build sustainable strength, and experience the play between alignment, balance, and presence.

After an accident in 2023 left her with a broken foot and torn Lisfranc ligament that led to multiple surgeries, her journey to recovery and relearning how to walk deepened her understanding of anatomy, resilience, and the mind-body connection. Her classes are calm, strong, and grounding, weaving dynamic movement with rhythm-based sequencing set to uplifting music. Yvonne’s mission is to create a space where everyone can explore what it truly means to practice yoga: not just the postures, but how the practice and community can support a richer, more informed, and deeply embodied life. 🌱

Teaching

I’m not currently teaching public classes — please reach out for private sessions.

Private lessons offer a chance to refine your technique, explore the connection between your physical and internal practice, and receive personalized guidance. Through body reading and assists, we’ll address injuries, challenges, and patterns that deserve more focused attention than a group setting allows.
