This collaborative postcard was designed and printed with my Type West classmates at the San Francisco Center for the Book. Each student contributed one letter to form the word “TYPEFACE,” which was then made into polymer plates and printed via letterpress on soft, tactile paper. We explored two approaches: a two-color print in black and Letterform Archive red, and a blind deboss edition that relies solely on pressure and impression to reveal the letterforms.
